Mumbai: As women come forward to share their sexual harassment ordeal under #metoo, Sri Lankan fast bowler and 2014 World T20 winning captain Lasith Malinga and former team captain Arjuna Ranatunga are the latest to get accused of sexual misconduct.

Indian playback singer Chinmayi Sripaada took to Twitter to share a graphic experience of an anonymous woman who claims she was sexually assaulted by Malinga in his hotel room a few years ago. The cricketer is yet to respond to these allegations.

While their fans were reeling from this revelation, a former Indian flight attendant also came forward to share a similar ordeal accusing cricketer Arjuna Ranatunga of sexually harassing her in a Mumbai hotel. She also alleged that they were served spiked drinks by the Sri Lankan cricket team.
