Congress targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the tweet that shows him walking hand in hand with Sharif
Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam were arrested, yesterday, upon their arrival at Lahore Allama Iqbal Airport. The duo was convicted on charges of corruption.
But it’s the principal opposition party of India – Indian National Congress who lost its face here after it posted a random and unnecessary tweet from its official handle.
Congress targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the tweet that shows him walking hand in hand with Sharif. The picture was from the prime minister’s visit to Pakistan in 2015 to improve ties.
Nawaz Sharif has been arrested on corruption charges. We’d like to know what his dear friend, PM Modi has to say about this. pic.twitter.com/VpIfJplfMX— Congress (@INCIndia) July 14, 2018
However, the tweet did not go well with internet users and they lambasted Congress for its twisted sense of humour.

PM Modi indeed has a soft heart for corrupts. Look how he is enjoying drinks with a con out on bail. pic.twitter.com/dF5G9MW4T5— Smoking Skills (@SmokingSkills_) July 14, 2018
