Tamil Nadu: Driver suspended for uploading video showing poor condition of state-run bus (Video)
A bus driver who uploaded a video of the poor conditions of a bus run by Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) was handed a suspension order on Monday.
Palani: Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation’s (TNSTC) bus driver Vijayakumar had recorded a video where he complained about the poor condition of the bus. He said that the shutter attached to the window next to him does not cover it completely, thus leading to rainwater drenching him every time it rains. He has been working as TNSTC bus driver for the past 12 years. He was suspended for complaining about the condition of the bus and uploading the video on social media.
