An upsetting occurrence occurred in Gurugram when a Swiggy delivery employee was caught on camera stealing a pair of sneakers. In the April 9 video shared on X, user Rohit Arora claimed that a Swiggy Instamart delivery employee took a pair of black "Nike" shoes from his friend's doorway after he arrived to drop off an order.

He further claimed that the stolen shoes were from Nike. He wrote on X, "Swiggy's drop-and-pick-up service. A delivery boy stole my friend's shoes (Nike), and they will not even disclose his contact information."

The video displays the delivery guy climbing the stairs, ringing the doorbell, and making sure no one is there before performing the robbery. After delivering the package, he nonchalantly walks back up the stairs, wipes his face with a towel, returns to the location, retrieves the shoes, puts them in his towel, and exits. The entire incident was filmed on the house's CCTV cameras.

However, Rohit Arora said what worried the friend of the individual whose shoes were taken was that the company was not even replying to the messages and the complaint raised in relation to the situation.

Since being released online, the video has gone viral with thousands of views, and individuals have begun to share their opinions in the post's comments.

Swiggy Cares responded when his message went viral, saying, "We expect more from those who deliver our products. Do contact us via DM so that we can better assist you."

As the clip spread, X users responded to the footage from CCTV, with some denouncing the company and others making fun about it.
