With the summer heat spreading across the entire nation, traffic cops in Gujarat's Vadodara strive to stay cool with newly designed AC helmets. When faced with new obstacles, fresh solutions are required, and IIM Vadodara students rose to the occasion.

To counteract the nation's persistent summer, they designed AC helmets for the Vadodara Traffic Police, providing them with a refreshing respite while on duty. These battery-powered helmets provide much-needed relief to officers who work relentlessly to maintain roadway security and order, rain or shine.

It's a poignant tribute to their dedication, and these youngsters killed it.

A video of on-duty cops wearing AC helmets went viral on social media. Last year, the Ahmedabad Traffic Police also introduced air conditioning helmets. And shortly, Kanpur Traffic Police will put them to the test, with the goal of providing relief from the heat and rain to cops across the state, including Lucknow.

About Helmet:
These helmets have a distinctive design, with a plastic top that incorporates a fan-like structure. These cooling miracles are powered by a battery pack worn securely around the waist by traffic enforcement officers.

Impressively, these helmets can work for up to eight hours on a single full charge. They not only provide a refreshing breeze, but they also protect the Ahmedabad traffic cops from dust and pollution. Interestingly, these helmets are 500 grams heavier than standard riding helmets.

The 'AC helmet' stands out from ordinary riding helmets because of its compact plastic top. It includes a fan mechanism as well as various other components. According to sources, these specialty helmets cost between Rs. 12,000 and Rs. 16,000 on average.

Traffic officers are among those who must face the searing sun, regardless of how hot it is outdoors.
Fortunately, traffic cops in Gujarat's Vadodara wear air-conditioned helmets to keep cool in the hot heat.
