Founder and CEO of OYO Rooms, Ritesh Agarwal recently visited BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi with his wife Geetanshi Sood and son. They took a trip to celebrate one year of their marriage and shared wholesome pictures and a YouTube video on X.

"Jai Swaminarayan Celebrated my first wedding anniversary with my lovely wife Geet and our son, Aryan at the BAPS Swaminarayan Hindu Mandir, Abu Dhabi. I first heard about it when PM Modi ji inaugurated it recently, so I decided to make a pitstop here. I have been to many holy sites and temples this year from Puri to Bhubaneswar & Ayodhya, each with its own beauty and grandeur. I couldn’t think of a better place to be on this occasion and seek blessings." Ritesh tweeted.

Ritesh is a 30-year-old businessman with a net worth of around Rs. 15,000 crore making him one of the youngest billionaires in India. He recently made his TV debut on Sony Entertainment's Shark Tank India and is one of the judges on the show.

OYO Rooms, an online hotel booking platform was founded in 2012 and made a significant impact on the hospitality market in India. The business became extremely successful and joined the Unicorn Club. However, there were many controversies surrounding the company like hidden charges, predatory prices, threatening hotels, and sending unrequested emails offering jobs to employees from competitive businesses.

These controversies have slowed down the growth of the company in recent years and the rise of competitors like MakeMyTrip, Agoda, and Booking.com is making it difficult for OYO to survive in the current scenario.
