Nita Ambani never misses a chance to flaunt her love for luxurious jewellery. It's not just at weddings that she burst out her Rs. 500 crore emerald necklace or 'mirror of paradise' ring. Nita is known for her elegant fashion and jewellery collection and has worn several antique pieces on multiple occasions catching everyone's attention. The Miss World 2024 finale was held on March 9 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. Krystyna Pyszkova from the Czech Republic was crowned the Miss World 2024. Nita Ambani also attended the event and was presented with the 'Beauty with Purpose Humanitarian Award'.

She looked heavenly as usual but her 'bajuband' stole the show as it was no ordinary piece of jewellery but an antique piece owned by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. It is called a 'kalgi' or 'sarpech' and is a turban ornament worn by males and females of blue blood. The piece is estimated to be around Rs. 200 crores. She paired the bajuband with a stunning 'banarsi saree handcrafted with gold and zari by Manish Malhotra in collaboration with Swadesh.

Isha Ambani Piramal posted pictures of her mother with the award on her Instagram. She wrote, "Nita Ambani tonight at Miss World 2024 Finale at Jio World Centre!"

The piece was last seen publicly in the Mughal Jewels Auction: Al-Thani Collection auction in 2019. It is made of gold with diamonds, rubies, and spinels. It is made by the Pachhikakaam technique and is one of the most valuable pieces from the Mughal era. Nita Ambani does not shy away from wearing her exquisite pieces in many creative ways. Recently, she wore many beautiful pieces worth hundreds of crores in the Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant pre-wedding festivities.
