Varun Dhawan will soon be seen with Anushka Sharma in the film Sui Dhaaga as Mauji, a tailor. After delivering a fantastic performance in October, the actor is on cloud nine with outstanding reviews for his film.

Before he started shooting for Sui Dhaaga, he attended many workshops to get the stitching right and to get into the skin of the character. He stitched many clothes during the training and guess what he stitched first? A blouse, yes you heard it right!  Varun shared a video on twitter where we can see him learning how to stitch a blouse. And this video going viral is no surprise.

In the video, Varun sitting in the workshop says, “3 months of training, learning and becoming Mauji! Thanks to darshan Noor bhai, I can finally say I now know how to stitch 😀 #SuiDhaagaMadeInIndia.” (SIC)

The other garments that he stitched were a shirt, a pant and other small garments. In an interview, Varun said, "It took me 3 months... Sometimes 2 hours and sometimes 4 hours in each tailoring class to get the confidence that I could pull this off in front of the camera."

Varun reportedly became quite a pro to the extent that he stitched a shirt and gifted it to his father David Dhawan on his birthday.

Sui Dhaaga is directed by Maneesh Sharma and is produced by Sharat Katariya. The film is believed to offer a special salute to the inherent entrepreneurial spirit that the youth of India and the country's local artisans have.
