Renowned filmmaker Yash Chopra's 2004 epic romantic drama, 'Veer-Zaara', featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, and Rani Mukerji in pivotal roles, continues to captivate audiences with its timeless love story. Notably, Karan Johar, a prominent figure in the Indian film industry, played a lesser-known role in the movie's production.

Despite having his own successful directorial ventures like 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' and 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham', Karan Johar took on the role of a costume designer for 'Veer-Zaara'. While celebrity designer Manish Malhotra handled most of the film's costumes, Johar specifically designed Shah Rukh Khan's attire. His contribution is acknowledged in the movie's end credits, a fact that recently evoked nostalgia and emotion in Johar.

Reflecting on his involvement in 'Veer-Zaara', Johar took to his Instagram stories on April 11 to share his sentiments. He expressed his fond memories of Yash Chopra, the esteemed filmmaker, upon seeing his name alongside Chopra's in the credits. Johar's post featured a screenshot of the credits highlighting his role in designing Shah Rukh Khan's costumes, a moment that filled him with excitement and nostalgia.
