Salman Khan’s Bharat is one of the most anticipated projects of 2019 and currently, the movie is grabbing headlines because of Priyanka Chopra, who ditched the filmmakers at the nick of time.

The movie is a remake of the classic Korean movie Ode to my Father, which will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, of Tiger Zinda Hai fame.

Although Zafar announced Priyanka's ouster from the project with a positive tweet wishing her a good future, the entire team of Bharat is reportedly irked with the actress for her "unprofessional" behaviour.

In a report published in Mid-Day, the producer of Bharat expressed annoyance at the actress' deed, and also called it "unprofessional".

"Priyanka told us she had to exit due to her engagement, two days ago. It was a little unprofessional of her to do it so suddenly," Nikhil Namit, CEO, Reel Life Productions told the publication.

As of now, speculation is rife about who will replace Priyanka in the movie that already has Disha Patani and Nora Fatehi. Names like Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and Anushka Sharma are doing the rounds.

But on a lighter note, comedian Sunil Grover, who is also part of the movie, wants to apply for the role. He posted a video in which he dressed up as a woman called Nancy and looked hilarious.

Salman Khan likes Sunil since the days of Kapil Sharma’s show. According to reports, Sunil will play the part of Salman’s friend in the film.
