Alia Bhatt, Swara Bhasker and other celebs express grief over the unfortunate tragedy during Dussehra celebration.
Bollywood celebrities, including Alia Bhatt, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, among others have expressed their grief over the Amritsar train accident.
As the train accident took place, people could not hear the noise due to the explosion from the burning firecrackers. It seems the train was a daily passenger one from Jalandhar to Amritsar. The gates of the unmanned crossing were also closed. The injured have been rushed to the hospitals of Amritsar. Around 60 people lost their lives after the train ran over people watching Dussehra celebrations near the track in Amritsar’s Choura Bazar.
Ajay Devgn was one of the first celebs to Tweet about the tragedy. He took to Twitter and wrote, "Pained to hear about the Amritsar train tragedy. Deepest condolences to the bereaved families."
