Baahubali star Prabhas who under pressure to create the same effect as he did in his previous movie said he is afraid that his female fans will start hating him after this
Prabhas became a pan-India star after making it big with the blockbuster Baahubali. He has gained popularity abroad too.
However, he is worried and under pressure to maintain the same effect he had with the big film Baahubali two years ago.
In an interview, Prabhas talked about his latest movie Saaho, saying the movie is very different from Baahubali, and urged his fans not to expect the same kind of performance. He noted that SS Rajamouli's Baahubali had created history, and said, “However, Sujeeth's Saaho is just for entertainment”.
"Baahubali made history and Saaho is just entertainment for the audience who loved Baahubali. We are all so stressed, we have spent so much of money and time just to entertain after Baahubali," the 29-year-old Prabhas stated.
Prabhas fears women might hate him:
He also said, his female fans will start hating him after watching the movie, "In Saaho, some women might hate me for some time because again, I am trying to do something different."
"We can't make a Baahubali again, so it's better we go to a commercial zone, which is a screenplay film. It is an intelligent film also. A couple of years ago in Dubai, some woman told me, in Baahubali you gave so much respect to women and we want that in Saaho also. I said, 'Ma'am it's a different film and I can't do the same film every time," he added.
Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor, who debuts in the south Indian film industry with Saaho, plays Amritha Nair, a crime branch officer who accompanies Prabhas in his mission. The movie has many villains like Neil Nitin Mukesh, who is in search of a ‘black box' to open a locker, which has a billion dollars. Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Mahesh Manjrekar and Mandira Bedi also play antagonists in this big-budget flick.
Produced by UV Creations, the film's budget is estimated to be between Rs 250 crore to Rs 300 crore. The movie is produced by V Vamsi Krishna Reddy, Pramod Uppalapati and Bhushan Kumar.
The shooting for the film took place in six phases and was shot in places like Abu Dhabi, Austria, Romania, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
The film will be released in four languages - Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi, The film will hit theatres on August 30.
