Deepika wore a gorgeous purple feathery dress gown with a long veil for which her husband Ranveer Singh commented, "Baby ... you're killin me." Many loved the look and some compared it with Kylie Jenner's 2019 Met Gala's look where the beauty mogul donned a lilac custom Versace number which featured a cut out purple bodice that hugged her houglass figure well. On the other hand, Deepika opted for a lilac coloured gown by designer Gaurav Gupta.

That's not all. A few days ago, Deepika Padukone had left a comment saying, “Hi Daddie,” on Ranveer Singh's Instagram page, which made their fans wonder if the two are set to become parents.

Replying to Deepika's ‘daddie’ comment, which was posted with a waving emoji, a baby emoji and a heart emoji, Ranveer responded by saying, “Hi Baby.”

The cherry on top was when, Ranveer's best buddy in Bollywood Arjun Kapoor replied to Ranveer's ‘hi baby’ comment saying, "Baba Bhabi is gonna give you one."

So, after all the calculations and evaluation of all the above Instagram chit chat, Deepika and Ranveer might have their first child next year.

During Deepika's New York trip, she was interviewed by an international media portal, where she was seen talking about motherhood. "It will happen when it has to happen. Motherhood trumps being married. That's what I hear from people who have had children. Of course, it will happen at some point," she had said.

On Deepika Padukone's work front,  she will be seen in Meghna Gulzar's Chapaak in January 2020. She has also turned co-producer with the film. Apart from this, she would also be seen in Kabir Khan's '83 portraying the role of Romi Bhatia - Kapil Dev's wife.
