The makers of 'Good Newwz' released the trailer of the laugh riot on November 18, in the presence of the entire team. The trailer will leave you in splits with the comic timings of the ensemble star cast comprising Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh, Kiara Advani, and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Karan Johar was also in the event, where he introduced the cast members by calling Kareena his 'production house's unofficial brand ambassador', Kiara his 'own girl' and Diljit Dosanjh as his 'partner in retail crime'.

Not just that Karan also took the chance to speak about pay equality and how well Dharma women are being paid. He said, "We pay everyone well, irrespective of gender, or what are they doing on the film, be it actors or technicians. Soon, actresses will be given producer credit as well in a lot of female-centric films."

Akshay Kumar, who was at the event, grabbed the limelight with his double meaning jokes. After the trailer was released and received a good response from the audience, Kumar started asking questions related to babies from the audience and media.

While answering questions,he went on to crack an adult joke, much to everyone’s surprise. Explaining the number of bones a baby has, Akshay replied, “206 bones, the same as an adult,” but further added, "A man has 206 bones and in the morning 207."

About Good Newwz's trailer:
In the opening scene of the trailer, Akshay and Kareena are consulting a doctor about IVF (in vitro fertilisation) and an excited Kareena gets ready for it. But here comes the twist in the story, by mistake Akshay and Diljit's sperms get exchanged with their respective leading ladies and this confusion of sperm mix-up will surely tickle your funny bone.
Later, when the doctor informs their clients about the mixup, the couples are seen visibly shocked, and in order to stay close to his child who is in Kareena's womb, Diljit along with his wife Kiara shift to the apartment where Kareena stays with her husband Akshay.

Towards the end of the trailer, Kareena delivers a baby who turns out to be an exact copy of Diljit, which leaves the couple baffled. With a dose of light-entertainment punches, Akshay and Diljit's funny one-liners will certainly have the audience in splits.

Helmed by Raj Mehta, 'Good Newwz' will hit the theatres on December 27 this year.
