Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh are teaming up once again after Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain (2014). And this time, the latter has got a never-seen-before character in this Milap Zaveri's film Marjaavaan.  The movie also features Student of the Year 2's Tara Sutaria and Lust Stories's Kiara Advani in important roles.

Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh's first looks in Marjaavaan:
Riteish plays a vertically challenged antagonist named Vishnu and his first look will give you a feel that he is playing a very strong character. In his latest interaction with Mumbai Mirror, Milap Zaveri threw some light about the characters in the movie. Talking about Riteish's negative role, Milap said, “We decided to make the villain three-foot-tall, larger-than-life midget with a wicked sense of humour. Vishnu is arrogant and thinks he is invincible. We storyboarded the screenplay and had a midget gentleman on the sets for Riteish to imbibe certain mannerisms and ensure he didn’t go overboard or underplay the physical aspects of his character.”

On the other hand, Sidharth stood out as a tall man with a rusty physique carrying an intense look. He shared another poster of himself and wrote, "Main maaroonga MARR Jaayega! Dubaara janam lene se DARR Jaayega! MASS MASALA MILAP!"

When is Marjaavaan releasing?
Earlier, it was scheduled to release on Gandhi Jayanti, October 2 this year. However, it will now be releasing on November 22.

Producer Nikkhil Advani talked about the movie's VFX to the tabloid and the reason the movie release had to be postponded, “It is important that we give Marjaavaan a suitable release. We’re proud of Milap’s inimitable filmmaking style and unique language that we expect it will exceed audience expectations. The film needs this kind of VFX especially with Riteish as a dwarf.”

Sidharth announced the wrap-up earlier in March and penned a long note of gratitude for his crew and the whole team.
