Anantapur: A minor girl from Andhra Pradesh's KP Doddi village was beaten up by a village elder in the presence of several others as she reportedly eloped with her cousin.
The duo was brought back to the village and presented before the village elders where he began to thrash the girl for having a relationship.
As the video went viral on social media, Anantapur Police tried to intervene, but the girl's parents allegedly asked the police to stay off from their family affairs and also threatened by stating that the villagers would storm into the police station as a sign of protest.
