Bengaluru: Minutes after the Karnataka Assembly was adjourned till Friday (July 19) afternoon, BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa refused to leave the House and asked his MLAs to sleep there overnight in protest demanding immediate floor test. Yeddyurappa further claimed that pillows, food and beds would be arranged for the MLAs, who will be staying back at Karnataka assembly.

On Thursday (July 18), the House witnessed massive protests by the Karnataka coalition government over the Supreme Court’s seemingly confusing order on parties issuing whips, the session was adjourned to tomorrow. The House also saw constant filibustering with an obvious intent to buy more time.
