Bengaluru: A Mandya resident played Good Samaritan on Thursday by helping voters find their names in the electoral list on Thursday as Karnataka witnessed first phase of polling in 14 Lok Sabha constituencies. Ashok, who downloaded the mobile application of the Election Commission (EC), checked the names of the voters mentioned in the card and ensured they get their voter slips and in turn exercise their franchise. He said he helped about 30 voters whose names were missing from the electoral list. He helped them with their registration numbers and they were able to cast their votes.
