Chennai sees spurt in traffic during elections; Bus prices hiked

Chennai: Citizens in Chennai were left inconvenienced after there were very few buses that left Chennai for places like Tiruvannamalai and Vizhupuram. Citizens alleged that they not only had to pay a huge price for tickets but also had to wait for hours to get a bus. Some people even boarded the roof top of buses due to lack of space.
