Chennai’s mentally-challenged mindful of Lok Sabha election; to exercise right to vote

Chennai: For the first time in history, people with mental disorders are given an opportunity to cast their votes. Chennai's Kilpauk Institute of Mental Health in Chennai has opened the doors for as many as 168 inmates to cast their votes for the Tamil Nadu Assembly by-polls and Lok Sabha elections. MyNation went to the institute to understand the efforts put in to ensure these inmates are allowed to exercise their franchise.
