Barabanki: Six girls went missing form Kasturba residential School on Monday but were tracked down in a nearby village and brought back amidst their cries of not wanting to remain in the hostel. The girls accused the warden of forcing them to clean toilets, wash clothes and clean utensils. The school has refuted these allegations.

Upon checking CCTV footage, it was found that one of the students who escaped the hostel had been residing in a nearby village. When they reached her house, the BSA found all six students, who were brought back to the school after convincing the student’s father.

Block Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) VP Singh reached the school on Monday upon hearing the news. Singh too refuted the claims of students and said that they were just finding it difficult to adjust to the hostel as they were homesick.
