Tripura's time to thank Modi: Biplab Deb

Chief minister Biplab Deb has been using the Tripura card time and again in this election. While addressing a crowd on Thursday, Deb resurrected the 'how Tripura was saved' narrative and asked the people to bring Prime Minister Narendra Modi back to power as a nice gesture. Tripura has been ruled by the Left from 1993 to 2018.

The Communist Party of India's long rule ended last year with a clean sweep by the BJP. Biplab Deb appealed to the people to 'vote for Modi' as a thank you note.
