Terrorists involved in Easter bombings killed 2 police officers in 2018: Sri Lanka police

Colombo: The Sri Lanka police on Sunday claimed that the perpetrators of Easter Sunday terrorist attacks were behind the killing of two police officers who were on duty at the Vavunathivu police barrier in 2018.

Police media spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara shared the findings with the media which were recovered from the terrorists in Nindavur and Wanathawilluwa.

During the briefing, the police spokesperson showed two revolvers which are said to be belonging to the police officers who were killed at the Vavunathivu police checkpoint. The revolvers were recovered from the terrorists in Nindavur and Wanathawilluwa.
