Prime Minister Narendra Modi is known to practise what he preaches and this time has been no different. PM Modi was seen plogging a dirty beach in Mamallapuram for 30 minutes before his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Mamallapuram: Prime Minister Narendra Modi uploaded video of him cleaning a beach in Mamallapuram where he and Chinese President Xi Jinping have decided to meet for an informal summit.
PM Modi could be seen barefoot in the video and was ridding the beach of plastic. In his tweet he said that he has handed over the ‘collection’ of garbage to Jeyaraj - a hotel staffer, and requested people to ensure that public places are clean and tidy.
