Maharashtra Security Force prevents senior citizen from committing suicide at Mumbai railway station

Mumbai: Alert officers of the Maharashtra Security Force (MSF) have saved the life of a senior citizen who was attempting suicide on the tracks of the Mumbai central railway station.

CCTV footage at the station showed that the senior citizen who is believed to be over 60 years of age stepped on to the railway tracks.

All the while, other passengers could be seen trying to stop the man from taking the extreme step when another man dressed in the MSF uniform jumps on to the tracks and pulls him away from the approaching train in the nick of time.

Another officer jumps on to the tracks within seconds and the two officers escort the man to the platform. Locals can be seen offering a helping hand to the officers as they pull the man back to the platform.
