Palakkad: Eight people died on the spot after an ambulance collided with a truck in Palakkad, Kerala. The eight who were killed in the accident are residents of Pattambi in Palakkad, Kerala. The deceased have been identified as ambulance driver Sudhir, Nazar, Favas, Subair, Shafi and Sulaiman.
Police are yet to identify two others who were killed in the accident.
Strangely though, the ambulance was transporting persons who were injured in an accident to a nearby hospital when it collided with the lorry.
