Karnataka: Indian bison dies of thirst in scorching heat at Kali Tiger Reserve

Uttara Kannada: An Indian bison was found dead in Kali Tiger Reserve in Karnataka's Uttara Kannada district as there was no water in the surrounding areas for animals to drink.

The forest officials reportedly said that the bison died due to thirst. Kali Tiger Reserve is a habitat of Bengal tigers, black panthers and Indian elephants, amongst other distinctive fauna.
