Students in Rewari, Haryana, complained of making them stand under the scorching sun and not even giving them drinking water during the final rehearsals of Independence Day celebration events.
Rewari: Students, who were called for the final rehearsal of Independence Day events at Rao Tularam Stadium in Rewari, Haryana, have complained that they were forced to practice on an unclean ground and were not even provided drinking water. The students complained that there were thorns on the ground they were practicing on and though they were standing under the scorching sun for hours, they were not given drinking water. Haryana PWD minister Rao Narbir Singh will hoist the flag on the occasion. However, reacting to the complaints, authorities said that they are clueless about this and will make necessary arrangements if any problems are found.
