Gold Ganesha idols worth Rs 65 lakh seized at Chennai airport; passenger arrested

Chennai: The Chennai Airport Customs Authority’s officials have arrested one person for carrying four gold idols of Lord Ganesha in his suitcase.

The man travelled from Paris to Chennai and had hidden the idols in his suitcase.

The estimated value of the four idols is Rs 65 lakh.
