New Delhi: A 27-year-old man from West Bengal committed suicide at his residence in New Delhi by hanging himself. The man live-streamed the act and his friends rushed to the spot, who later informed the police.
The forensic experts rushed to the spot and took the deceased’s phone for investigation. The body has been shifted to a mortuary in Subzi Mandi, Delhi for 72 hours.
The deceased’s friend was questioned by the Delhi Police and his statements have been recorded.
The police have found that the deceased had been working as a maintainer at Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, Delhi for the past two to three months and he was the only son to his parents. He has a married sister who resides in West Bengal and his mother expired 16 years ago.
