Congress leaders protest Kumaraswamy’s son’s candidacy for Mandya Lok Sabha seat

Mandya: The Congress leaders on Sunday began to protest Nikhil Kumaraswamy’s candidacy from Mandya for the upcoming Lok Sabha election. Nikhil is the son of chief minister HD Kumaraswamy. The Congress leaders alleged that Kumaraswamy's son should not be given priority and demanded that other candidates be fielded from Mandya.

The protest was held in Mandya, Karnataka near Sir M Vishweshwaraiah statue. The protesters said that they would go on a hunger strike if their demands were not fulfilled.
