Bomb scare at Bengaluru railway station: Home minister Patil urges citizens to be vigilant

Bengaluru: At around 9 am on Friday (May 31) a metal cover of a grenade was found lying next to a train track on which Sanghamitra Express (Patna-bound) travels at Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station in Bengaluru.

On spotting it, a constable informed the police, who rushed to the spot. On initial investigation, it was found out that it was a dummy piece. It has been sent for examination.

Meanwhile, home minister MB Patil has urged the public not to panic and remain vigilant.
