Bengaluru: A monkey paid a visit to a family that had lost an elderly person, 71-year-old Naganagowda Patil. Patil died of a heart attack and his mortal remains were kept at home for relatives and villagers to pay their last respects. A monkey walked into the house and sat near the body along with family members for a while. Then it moved near Patil's son Marigowda, who was sitting outside. As if to console, monkey brushed its palm on Marigowda's head and was seen trying to whisper into his ear. It did not create any ruckus or disturb anyone in the house.
