Stop celebrating Tipu Jayanti with taxpayers' money, demands activist (Video)

Bengaluru: Anti-Tipu activist Patapat Srinivas on Wednesday said that the former king of Mysore was anti-Hindu and so the Karnataka government should stop celebrating his birth anniversary using taxpayers' money. "Tipu was anti-Hindu and the government should not celebrate Tipu Jayanti by using taxpayers' money," Srinivas said. Tipu Sultan's birth anniversary is celebrated on November 10.
