Sabarimala violence: Pinarayi Vijayan’s report blames Sangh Parivar

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan had a meeting with governor P Sathasivam at Raj Bhavan on January 10. The report submitted by Vijayan suggested that of the 10,561 accused of inciting violence in the state, 9,489 of them belonged to the Sangh Parivar. The report also stated that there is a conspiracy to create communal tension. CDs of several instances and pictures circulated on social media that allegedly try to promote enmity between different groups were also submitted as part of the report. As per sources, the hartal on January 3 alone cost the state a loss of Rs 2.32 crore.
