A Chinook helicopter today took off from a helipad in Kedarnath shrine in Uttarakhand with the debris of Indian Air Force's MI-17 V5 helicopter which had met with an accident in 2018.
The IAF helicopter had crashed after it hit an iron girder while trying to land at a helipad near the Kedarnath temple.
The IAF's Russian-origin transport helicopter was carrying eight people -- six passengers, the co-pilot and the pilot.
