Karnataka civic polls verdict: Congress workers injured after acid thrown at celebation rally in Tumakuru (Video)

At least 25 Congress party members were injured after acid was thrown on them during a victory procession at Tumakuru district, Karnataka. They were celebrating the win of Congress candidate Inayatullah Khan today post the civic polls (urban local body elections). The police have launched an investigation into the case and search operation is underway to nab the attackers. However, locals claim the incident to be an accident. Doctors say that the liquid might be some low-intensity acid like bathroom cleaner.
