After Bellandur, foam-laden Kachohalli lake poses danger in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Kachohalli lake situated in the outskirts of Bengaluru near Magadi Road is completely laden with foam. The lake is completely polluted and dark black in colour. The lake looks like it is more polluted than the Bellandur lake in Bengaluru. This lake also joins the Thippagondanahalli reservoir posing danger to people, who get this water for daily use from this reservoir. Foam in the Bellandur lake had caused fire due to the presence of high level of chemical substance. This lake too might face a similar situation. Even after high level officials visited the lake, Bellandur lake has not been cleaned yet. Will Kachonahalli lake too face similar fate?
