Food
Cancer can be prevented with the help of food. But there are also some foods that can become dangerous if overcooked or fried.
Frying meat over high heat produces carcinogens such as PAH and HCA. These damage DNA and cause cancer. So meat should be cooked at the right temperature.
Frying or roasting potatoes for a long time releases acrylamide, which is carcinogenic. So it is better to cook on medium heat. It is better to boil than fry.
Leafy greens like spinach and fenugreek are nutritious, but overcooking them can lead to the formation of nitrate-related substances that can cause cancer.
Over-roasting rice and other grains produces acrylamide, which has been linked to cancer. Grains should be cooked in the right amount of water.
Heating honey at high temperatures turns it into HMF, which is carcinogenic. Always use it at low temperature. Do not heat honey before adding it to tea.
