An elephant barged into a railway station in Assam on Saturday night and went on the rampage, striking terror in the hearts of the passengers. 

According local sources, the wild jumbo came from a nearby forest. 

The incident happened at the Rangapara railway station in northern Assam’s Sonitpur district. The elephant crossed the railway tracks and damaged a few two-wheelers in the parking bay, as people witnessed petrified for an hour. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
