Kurnool(Andhra Pradesh): A man allegedly bit his friend's genitals over a loan of Rs 100 during a drunken brawl. The shocking incident occurred at Joladarasi in Koilkuntla Mandal, Andhra Pradesh, on Wednesday (August 28).

According to sources, the accused, identified as Venkata Subbaiah, and the victim, V Venkateswarlu, both in their mid-40s, were good friends. Earlier this month, the victim had borrowed Rs 100 from Subbaiah. The duo met on Wednesday after Venkateshwarlu allegedly ignored Subbaiah’s requests to repay the amount.

The two men, who were reportedly drunk, got into an argument and within no time it escalated into a physical brawl during which Subbaiah fell on the ground. Venkateshwarlu took advantage of this and started punching him.

In an attempt to rescue himself, Subbaiah bit Venkateshwarlu's genitals. Passersby immediately rushed Venkateshwarlu to Nandyal government hospital where he underwent surgery and is recovering now.

Speaking to media, Koilkuntla SI Naresh said that they received information about the incident through social media and have sent a team to the village to inquire into this.
