Tirupur: A private bus rammed a car, but passengers had a miraculous escape as the tree stopped the bus from falling over the car. The accident occurred near Kethanur petrol bunk in Tirupur. The luxury car driver took a right turn in the highway towards the petrol bunk. Meanwhile, the private bus moving towards Udumalaipettai also took a sudden turn towards the petrol bunk. The bus driver lost his balance and it tilted and was about to fall on the car when a tree that was separating the car from the bus saved the lives of passengers in both the vehicles. Kempanaickenpalayam police have registered a case and are investigating.
