Article 370 abolition impossible: Farooq Abdullah, Ghulam Nabi Azad proved wrong

Bengaluru: Chief of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference, Farooq Abdullah and veteran Congressman Ghulam Nabi Azad had criticised PM Modi and the inclusion of abolition of Article 370 in BJP's election manifesto.

It looks like both leaders from Kashmir had underestimated the will and spirit of the Central government.

Farooq Abdullah had said that Modi could not bring the abolition of Article 370 into effect even if he became the Prime Minister for 10 terms. Ghulam Nabi Azad went a step further and had said that till Congress party exists in India, the BJP will not be able to abolish Article 370, even if they rule for 200 years.

But what happened on August 6 (after both Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha passed the bill) is now an indelible mark in the history of the country and point to gloat for the BJP in the face of leaders who had termed it impossible.
