
GVL Narasimha Rao: People disapproved of dynasty politics
BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao claimed that the people of India has put an end to the dynasty politics after the children of the chief ministers of Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh faced defeat from the constituencies they campaigned.
Amaravati: A day after YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) swept over the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections, BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao claimed that the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana opposed the dynasty politics in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
This comment came after Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy's son, Nikhil Kumaraswamy lost to Independent candidate Sumalatha Ambareesh in Mandya constituency while Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Chandrababu Naidu's son Nara Lokesh lost in Mangalagiri and Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao's daughter K Kavitha lost in Nizamabad constituency.
