Thoothukudi: The election flying squad has seized Rs 9 lakh from a car in Tamil Nadu’s Thoothukudi. The money is believed to have been kept for distribution to voters.
The Ottapidaram constituency is all set for by-election on May 19. The election flying squad stopped a car and found that Rs 9 lakh was being transferred without valid documents.
The flying squad headed by Ramesh, seized the money and took it to the circle officer of the area.
