The body of a 45-year-old man, Manjunath Ganapathi Shetty, was found floating on the surface of a lake in Yellapura, Uttara Kannada. Police suspect it to be a case of suicide
Yellapura, Uttara Kannada: The body of a 45-year-old man was found floating at a lake in Yellapura, Uttara Kannada district on Monday (May 21). The deceased has been identified as Manjunath Ganapathi Shetty. Shetty, a resident of Hulloramane had left his house at 3 am on Saturday. His family had been searching for him for three days when a passer-by noticed a body floating on the surface of the lake and immediately informed the police. The firefighters brought the body to the shore. Preliminary investigation reveals that it could be a case of suicide owing to depression.
