WATCH: Gold worth Rs 49.35 lakh seized at Delhi airport
The gold items collectively weighed 2,040 gms and valued at Rs 49.35 lakhs. The items were recovered from the check-in bags of the passengers, following which they were arrested.
New Delhi: Delhi Customs at Indira Gandhi International Airport seized 3 chains, 7 cuboid-shaped bars and other assorted pieces of gold from 3 Tajikistan nationals coming from Dushanbe.
The gold items collectively weighed 2,040 gms and valued at Rs 49.35 lakhs.
The items were recovered from the check-in bags of the passengers, following which they were arrested.
