
Vadodara rains: Crocodiles take over flooded streets
Vadodara rains have brought crocodiles to the streets of the city. The city received very heavy rain on Wednesday - over 400 millimetres in just 12 hours, the weather office said.
Vadodara: Crocodiles in Vadodara (Gujarat) have come out to the streets after heavy rains lashed the city. Residents have posted videos of the reptiles swimming in flooded waters.
Joseph Hoover, a wildlife activist confirmed that the crocodiles have come to the streets from a nearby waste land.
Hoover also said that this was a recurring issue in the area. A Twitter user shared a clip wherein a crocodile casually swims up to two stray dogs that later escape from the reptile.
The weather department has predicted heavy to very heavy rains for the next two days.
