Tamil Nadu: Missing drug trafficker found dead in Kilakarai shore

Ramanathapuram: A gang of six members allegedly murdered a 30-year-old drug trafficker, Kacha Maraikayar alias Mohamed Imran Khan, who went missing in April due to "business rivalry". The body was found buried in Kilakarai shore on Saturday (July 13).
The newly married Khan, who was involved in a murder and drug trafficking cases, went missing on April 14 and the Kilakarai police had launched a search after his brother filed a complaint on May 26. Khan was wanted in connection with the murder of Lukeman Hakkim.
As the police were trying to trace him, his murder came to light on Friday (July 12) when police arrested Sahul Hameed, 41 of Kilakarai, a drug trafficker, under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, a few days ago. He had about 8 kg of ganja, the Kilakarai Police said.
