Tamil Nadu chief minister bats for Chennai-Salem expressway
During an address to media persons in Salem, Tamil Nadu chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami said that the Chennai-Salem expressway will do no harm to farmers and will only be beneficial.
Salem: Tamil Nadu chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami has said that no harm will be done in the construction of the Chennai-Salem expressway.
He said that people will be benefitted by the 8-lane expressway. Palaniswami further added, "Earlier when we built these roads were people disturbed? We have to move with the times and upgrade ourselves." Speaking about the opposition to the expressway, Palaniswami said that people are crying out just to get attention.
